It is a true honor to serve as the principal of River Oaks Elementary. Every day, I am inspired by the curiosity, creativity, and compassion of our students and the deep commitment of our staff and families to supporting a world class education rooted in the IB philosophy.
ROE is a place where excellence is expected and nurtured. As an IB World School, we prioritize not only academic achievement but also the development of global citizens who are principled, open minded, and reflective. I see these qualities come to life in our classrooms, on our playgrounds, in the nature center, and throughout our vibrant school community.
With experience across the IB continuum from the Primary Years Programme to the Diploma Programme, I am passionate about fostering inquiry driven, student centered learning. Returning to an elementary setting has reminded me of the joy and possibility that exist in the foundational years of education. At ROE, that joy is matched by a shared commitment to high expectations and holistic growth.
As both principal and a proud parent of a Roadrunner, I have a personal stake in the success of our school. I know firsthand how important it is to create a learning environment where all children feel supported, challenged, and celebrated.
Looking ahead, I remain focused on consistency, collaboration, and community. Together, we are building a positive, inclusive school culture where every child is known and empowered. I believe deeply in the power of partnerships between home and school, and I welcome ongoing conversations about how we can continue to grow and thrive together.
