The deadline for Gifted and Talented testing was August 25, 2025 for the 2026-2027 school year

If your child was G/T tested at another district, please submit your G/T matrix with your application so that it can be reviewed by the Gifted and Talented department at HISD.

Results for this year's G/T testing will become available in December 2025.

Gifted and Talented identification is a requirement for our Vanguard Magnet program.
